Innovative Trends in Electrical Design

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad recently organized a lecture on “Innovative Trends in Electrical Design”. The program began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an address from Prof. G.S. Tomar, Chairman of IEEE MP&CG Section and Director General of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), Dr. S.M. Ali.
The highlight of the session was the presentation by Mr. Abhishek Jha from Hitachi Energy Sweden, acting as the Principal Project Lead Engineer and Technical Approver. He shared his wide experience and expertise in various aspects of Electrical and Mechanical engineering. Key points from the lecture included working with HVDC system technologies such as HVDC LCC and HVDC VSC.
The lectures were highly beneficial for electrical and mechanical students, particularly those in their second and third years, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge trends in electrical design and practical applications in the industry.

National Energy Conservation Day

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad celebrated "National Energy Conservation Day" on the theme of "Conserve to Preserve” under the flagship of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) and Institutional Innovation Cell (IIC).
Princi-PAL SISTec Ratibad, Dr. Manish Billore welcomed the Chief Guest of the program, Dr. Savita Vyas, Director of the School of Energy, Environment and Management, University of Teaching Department, RGPV, Bhopal, working in the field of energy conservation.
The event flagged off with pledge taking ceremony headed by the President of the Student Activity Council Ms. Samiksha Sahu. It continued on with a poster exhibition. The chief guest was overwhelmed with the students' enthusiasm, creativity, and the messages presented on the posters. The best three posters were announced as winners by the head of the Electrical Engineering department Prof. Ashish Singhal.
