The Industry Institute Partnership Cell and the Institution's Innovation Council at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad organized a National Startup Meet & ISTE Student Annual Convention M.P. Section to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among young engineering students. It brought together renowned figures from the startup ecosystem to share their experiences and insights with the participants.
Dr. Mukesh Kumar Mishra, Executive Committee Member of ISTE discussed ISTE's role in promoting technical education and innovation. Mr. Yogesh Khakre, CS, Bhopal Smart City Corporation highlighted the startup ecosystem and its opportunities. Mr. Punit Maheshwari, Director of Navigator Technologies, Bhopal shared his journey in the electronics industry. Mr. Narendra Thakre, Founder of Energy Green, Bhopal recounted his transformation into a successful business owner.
The event emphasized the importance of motivation towards internships and entrepreneurial endeavors providing valuable guidance and inspiration to students entering the world of entrepreneurship.

The Dept. of Basic Science (First Year Cell) at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad under the banner of the ISTE Student Chapter organized National Mathematics Day Celebration sponsored by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST Bhopal). National Mathematics Day is celebrated to recognize the achievements of the great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The celebration was held in four parts: a Mathematical Rangoli Design Competition, a Mathematical Quiz on the SISTec Training App, a Guest Address by Dr. Sachin Tiwari, (Member of the Private University Viniyamak Aayog), and Expert Session by Dr. Deepak Kumar Singh, Professor at NITTTR Bhopal on the topic of "Application of Mathematics in Present Scenario". He discussed the importance of mathematics in day-to-day life and through graphing & plotting software showed pictorial representations of various mathematical equations.
Another Expert Session by Dr Farhan Beg, Professor at SISTec, Gandhi Nagar was conducted on the "Importance of Mathematics in Real Life."
