The Institute Innovation Council (IIC), Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec organized Technovation - 22 on the occasion of National Innovation Day. The event featured 25 teams presenting their concepts and business plans on topics like waste management, energy conservation, and environment & sustainability. The guests for the event were Mr. Arvind Singh, (Production Manager - Parmali Wallace), Ms. Deepa Soni, (Founder - Dream Bhopal Green Bhopal), and Mr. Mohan Kushwaha, Assistant Engineer - CPWD (Central Zone). Mr. Kshitij Yugbodh, (Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering - SISTec Ratibad) an internal judge, was also present to motivate and guide the students.

Students gave presentations of their business strategies, which served as the basis for their competition evaluation. Out of 25 teams, four teams won the first prize and runner-up title, who provided many fresh ideas and plans on how to recycle garbage for useful purposes were:

— Category A (Idea/Business Model)

• First Prize - Mr. Hemant Soni
• Runner up Prize - Team Novelty

— Category B (Model)

• First Prize - Disposable Plate & Cup Team
• Runner up - Team Hybrid Push Cart

The guests felicitated the four teams and gave them appreciation for their efforts and business ambitions. Overall, it was a great event put up by IIC SISTec to show people how to recycle waste of any size.
