RGPV Nodal Swimming Tournament

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec hosted the RGPV Nodal Swimming Tournament for Men and Women on 7th October 2022 at the college campus.Teams from various colleges arrived to be a part of this grand event. The event started with the welcoming words from Dr. Keshavendra Choudhary (Principal, SISTec). The Sports Coordinator Mr. Neelesh Kumar Mishra gave a brief intro of the event and layout of the matches.

The Certificates of participation were categorized under:

1.) 100m Butterfly Category for Boys

2.) 400m Freestyle Category for Boys

3.) 800m Freestyle for Boys

4.) 100m Backstroke Category for Boys

5.) 100m Freestyle Category for Girls

6.) 50m Backstroke Category for Boys / Girls

7.) 200m Butterfly Category for Boys

8.) 200m Freestyle Category for Girls

Among all the above categories of Nodal Swimming Tournament, a total of 70 candidates participated with 40 boys and 30 girls, out of that Mr. Syed Ali from SISTec won Gold Medal in 1500 m and 800 m race, whereas LNCT College, Bhopal won 11 Gold Medal, 2 Bronze Medal & 2 Silver Medal. VIT, Sehore won 3 Bronze Medal & 1 Silver, IES, Bhopal won 1 Gold & 1 Silver, Oriental College, Bhopal won 1 Gold & 1 Silver, SAIT, Vidisha won 2 Bronze, TIT College won 2 Gold and SIRT College, Bhopal won 1 Gold & 1 Bronze.

The matches were very thrilling, with some splendid maneuvers that maxed out the excitement for all present. The Event concluded with an Award Distribution Ceremony. Dr. Keshavendra Choudhary (Principal - SISTec) and (Mr. Neelesh Mishra (Sports Officer, Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec), gave away the Medal to the Participants.
