IEEE Day Celebration and Project Expo 2024

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Sagar Institute of Science, Technology & Engineering (SISTec-E), Ratibad, successfully hosted the IEEE Day Celebration and Project Expo 2024. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Deepak Mathur, IEEE Vice President of Member and Geographic Activities (MGA), and Dr. G. S. Tomar, Chair of IEEE MP Section, who delivered inspiring keynote addresses. International speakers Dr. Kavinga Upul, Head of Hardware Acceleration at ACCELR, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Dr. Edward from Namibia University shared their valuable expertise on technical innovation and IEEE's global impact.

The Project Expo showcased the innovative work of 35 student teams from various institutions of Bhopal. Projects were categorized into hardware, software, and demonstrations. The winners were:
Hardware Category: Dhiraj Barve, Sakshi, and Kajal from SISTec-E Ratibad
Software Category: Praphul Kumar, Deepak Sharma, and Hirdesh Mewada from IES University
Demonstration Category: Kashiram Ahirwar, Md. Adil, and Faiz Rain from SISTec-E Ratibad

Dr. Harish Sharma from BHEL Bhopal's keynote session provided practical insights into industry practices in heavy electrical equipment. Other notable guests, Dr. Gaurav Bharti from IIIT Bhopal and Ms. Divya Bhatt from BHEL, offered encouraging feedback on the students' innovative projects.
