SISTec Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering conducted expert lecture. The expert for the session was Prof. Dilip Kumar Dey who has worked with B.H.E.L. as a General Manager and he was also the Guest faculty for Adani Power Training Institute, Jindal Institute of Power Technology and National Power Training Institute.
The topic of this guest lecture was "Basic design and Manufacturing aspects of large capacity generators of rating 250 MW - 1000 MW sets used for Thermal, Gas and Nuclear based power plants.
Prof. Dilip Dey shared his experience of Power plants and gave an insight of operation and construction of power plants covering all aspects of Electrical Engineering.
The lecture was highly motivational for Electrical Engineering students, as it inspired the students to pursue their career in power plants.
