B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is an integrated academic program combining the fields of computer engineering and computer science, focusing on the digital electronics domain with added courses in computer architecture, processor design, operating systems, high-performance computing, parallel processing, computer networks, and embedded systems.

The CSE program at SISTec focuses on practical exposure along with technology. Computer Science & Engineering also includes core subjects of computer science such as the theory of computation, design & analysis of algorithms, data structures, and database systems. Hands-on practices on RGPV subjects like Operating System, DBMS, Computer Network, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Soft Computing are part of the industry-oriented teaching modules that students work on at Sagar Group of Institutions.

The course program works on a 4x4 customized study module for better learning where four theory, four practical classes are conducted as opposed to standard two theory, two practical classes. As part of its focus on industry requirements, the department imparts special sessions on Python, JAVA, Web Designing, and Android App Development with live major-minor project making under the able guidance of trained faculties. Seven active labs on DSA/ADA Labs, DBMS/DOT NET Lab, Software Lab, Machine Learning Lab, Java Programming Lab, Language Lab, Basic Computer Programming/Matlab Lab provide all the required training based on students’ passion.
