B.Tech in Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering stream is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.
B.Tech in Civil Engineering at Sagar Institute engineering college in Bhopal aims to meet the future needs of the construction industry and society by producing professional civil engineers competent in analyzing, designing, and managing solutions for practical engineering problems by imparting sound fundamentals at the B.Tech level and specialized subjects at M.Tech. level. The teaching-learning process is seamlessly supported by a large number of industry-oriented modules such as Structure Analysis, RCC Designing, CAD Drawings are a part of the scheduled timetable to ensure enhanced employability of students added with excellent academic support facilities (laboratories, library, etc.). Nine active labs in action; Material, Soil, Fluid Mechanics, SOM, Geology, Structure, Survey, Building Design and Drawing, Auto CAD lab add to the training module for student learning. The most imperative requirement for a student of Civil Engineering is to have abundant field exposure and knowledge of on-site workings. To ensure that the students have sufficient know-how of the field, the department organizes a large number of field trips and industrial visits for its students.
The department of Civil Engineering with its experienced faculty and dedicated training and placement cell continues to maintain and cultivate its strong links with the infrastructural industry in terms of placements such as Shree Ji Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd., Dilip Buildcon Pvt. Ltd., Seepage Control Pvt. Ltd., Kalash Infrastructures, Vansh Constructions, etc. The department is further working hard to develop both industrial and academic ties up with the industry leaders as its long-term initiatives. The department has an additional intrinsic advantage that Agrawal Builders, which is one of the biggest residential infrastructure developers and colonizer firms in Bhopal MP, is our parent company, and thus a confirmed recruiter of our graduate students.
M.Tech in Construction Technology and Management
Construction Technology and Management (CTM) refers to the discipline of overall planning, coordination, and control of projects. It is a part of the Civil Engineering domain. This course is a combination of Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
Construction Technology Management (CTM) is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from beginning to completion. This course gives the students scientific principles involved in construction, an understanding of the behavior of construction materials, and the fundamentals of structural mechanics. The course helps students achieve knowledge in decision-making, strategizing, business management, innovation, and technological demands. Advanced lessons in management science, project management, and risk analysis help students get the requisite expertise in the field.

Tech. degree program organizing advanced special workshops as well as short time refresher courses with participation from academic and serving senior-level officers in Central and State Government and Public Sector (PSUs).

M.Tech in Structural Engineering
The Master of Technology (M.Tech.) program in Structural Engineering at Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) places a strong emphasis on the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures as well as the investigation of structures under dynamic loads. This program necessitates a solid understanding of finite element analysis , the behaviour of structural components and the dynamics of entire structural systems.
