B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the latest technological advancement in the field of automation and it is the process of simulating advanced intelligence / human intelligence in machines to think and mimic humans. As the name suggests artificial intelligence is recreated to suit a user’s demand. Machine Learning is a part of Artificial Intelligence where through computer algorithms machines are taught to learn and evolve their working automatically through user experience and data.
B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML) is a 4-year undergraduate engineering degree program. The students of AI-ML are taught to write code and program the machines through which they can advance to think and act like human beings. This coding and programming is the essence or we can say the soul of the machines, working as guiding instruction for them. The said codes and programs which are somewhat like the mother tongue to the machines will help them in performing tasks with minimal human intervention.
In order to write these codes and programs, the students will be taught certain programming languages, understood by the machines, like Prolog, Lisp, JAVA, and Python. Essentially, this B.Tech undergraduate program is centered around the programming of machines through computer languages. Hence in this program, the students are required to learn and practice these specific languages, used to customize the functionalities of machines.
After completing the B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program, students can venture into this field at various profiles of Big Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, AI Data Analyst, Product Manager, AI Engineer, Robotics Engineer, etc. The requirement of students competent in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is skyrocketing with the advent of the internet, new technologies, and a new age of automation. The biggest companies in the global market revolve around programming and top players like Amazon, Accenture, SAP, Adobe, Persistent Systems, WhiteHat Jr, Mahindra, Deloitte, Tata Communications, Cognizant, Genpact, Capgemini, Wipro, etc may hire individuals who are passed out form this undergraduate course. Many of these players have already visited the Sagar Group of Institutions for active recruitment.
